SCHOOL RULES

The purpose of the following rules and regulations is to instil discipline and good behavior amongst students.

  • To define appropriate approaches of academic activities to provide stress free, child centered and holistic education to all children without compromising on quality
  • Students should wear proper school uniform when inside the school premises. Any type of modification to the school uniform is not allowed.
  • T-shirt or shirt must be properly tucked in.
  • Trousers must be in straight cut and skirts should be knee length.
  • Belt and tie should be worn all the time.
  • Students should wear proper attire for games and sports.

  • All students must attend school and be punctual. These shall include activities conducted outside/after the school, e.g. seminars, extra classes, etc.
  • 75% attendance is compulsory for all students failing which he/she may not be eligible for sitting in the exams.
  • Absent students must produce a valid medical certificate or a letter from the parent or legal guardian. Letters must state the reasons for absence from the school.
  • Students should not leave the school premises during study hours without the written permission of the principal.
  • Sick or unwell students shall leave the school only when they are escorted by a family member or guardian.
  • A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, should produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to attend the school.
  • School shall take a disciplinary action against students who regularly come late to the school.

  • Students are not allowed to wear expensive heavy jewelry inside the school. This includes rings, chains, bangles, et al. However, girls are allowed to wear small plain earrings.
  • Students should not bring any kind of electronic gadget inside school.
  • Mobiles are not allowed
  • During assembly, students must maintain silence and pay attention to all the proceedings.
  • Students must wear the school tie during assembly and school functions.
  • Students should not bring any kind of electronic gadget inside school.
  • Students should maintain self-discipline inside the classroom.
  • Students should not litter.
  • Students should keep their surroundings clean and tidy.
  • Students should greet all the staff members of the school.

After taking admission, if a student wishes to withdraw, only caution money will be refunded, subject to clearance of all dues payable to the school. In no circumstances, any dues payable to the school will be adjusted against the caution money. A written notice of withdrawal must be given one month in advance.

If you wish to withdraw admission or Transport facility of your ward, one term notice has to be given as a prerequisite, failing which respective term fee will be charged, in lieu thereof. The caution deposit will be released accordingly.

Transfer certificates will not be issued until all dues of the school are settled.

    A student may be asked to leave the school on the following grounds:
  • Indiscipline
  • Unsatisfactory progress in work
  • Detention or repeated detentions in a class
  • Non-payment of school fee
  • During assembly, students must maintain silence and pay attention to all the proceedings.
  • Disciplinary
  • Any other ground that the school deems appropriate in the interest of the school and other students.
  • Students who have been sick should bring a medical certificate from the doctor on joining school. A copy of the certificate is to be submitted and signed in the school clinic for follow up.
  • Parents should fill up the "Record for Non-attendance'' for each day the student is absent from school stating the reason for absence.
  • Students who require medical attention during school hours may be sent by teacher to the school clinic, with a slip / note in the Almanac.
  • No one who has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without a letter from the parent, addressed to the Class Teacher, stating the reason for the absence.
  • All students returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor's certificate to be endorsed by the school.

Student suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class

  • Chicken Pox- Till complete falling of the scabs
  • Cholera- Till the child is completely well
  • Measles- Two weeks after the rash disappears
  • Mumps- Until the swelling has gone, about 1 month
  • Whooping Cough- 6 weeks
  • Jaundice- 6 weeks after recovery
  • Repeated or unexplained absence for five consecutive days renders the student liable to have his name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on payment of fresh admission fee.
  • All the students are expected to attend school on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those absent because of sickness must present a medico certificate before they may be admitted to the class.
  • Absence for more than three days immediately after a vacation renders the student liable to pay a fine of Rs.500/- per day.
  • Mumps- Until the swelling has gone, about 1 month
  • It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% attendance in each academic year, for promotion.
  • No child who is medically unfit will be allowed to take class tests.
